BEAUTY CONTEST DEGRADE WOMENHOOD

Today, we could see both population and beauty contests are growing hand in hand. Of course both be controlled. It is not that beauty contests are not needed but they must be offended to some extent. It is that when we put in a huge amount of energy and time to get nothing out then we had better stop it.

Contests for estimating beauty remains unmeaning let it be for both genders. One could not define beauty to be an adjective. In such a case, I will file a suite here against language. Beauty which is said to be an adjective is not so in its meaning.It is an abstract noun, which could not have a definite form, meaning, or anything as we expect from an adjective. One can just feel it and admire it and it is of course human dependent.


A person cannot be beautiful as they estimate just by having a right shape and correct pose. Shape and arrangements are as per nature’s ordering. None of us has mere right to estimate the power of creation, the nature. By selecting, that one has beauty what is that we intend to do. Do we praise the nature for only one who won or abuse it for all the others who lost?


A person looking beautiful to one may not be beautiful to another. This is a globally accepted strategy. Therefore, it remains abstract without moral definitions. Therefore, even if such a contest persists then it means that we are unfair in judging things what cannot be judged at all. A crisscross teeth arrangement may enhance the beauty of some and not to some. Therefore, it does not mean that having a crisscross arrange is not a perfect beauty or it does not mean that it is not suiting the normality of arrangement.


Nature has no predefined arrangements or strategies of human parts stating that this is normal and others are abnormal. So judging the unjudgeable is waste of time, money and above all energy spent. Instead, such energy and money could be brought out to educate women and work for their welfare. Lot of quiz competitions could be conducted to improve the womanhood. This does not imply that beauty contest degrade women, it is that beauty should not be enforced the focus, instead focus should be turned towards the knowledge and other improvements.


Conducting beauty contest in one corner of the world would make women all over the world to strain their living to take care of the beauty instead of the knowledge they should be gaining. Women are powerful sources of changes. They could at once mould them to all sorts of changes quicker than men could. They must be able to use these changes to transform their brilliance of mind and soul rather than the external beauty.


If people are still going to be interested in these things, at least they must try to make out some good out of it. They may have an agreement with the beauty star stating to conduct campaigns. The campaigns may be against social evils or in favor of social welfare. This may make at least the hijacked fans to follow the star blindly for her soothing and silky speech.



Remember well the beautiful queen in the world is “Mother Teresa”. She rules the heart of people with her grace, kindness, charity, and love. She is a bliss strewn on earth by nature. Hence, we could say real beauty lies in heart and not in the hard woven external body.


One must realize that beauty is mortal; soul and knowledge are immortal and eternal. Let us all “Work out to make the world a haven to live in” instead the starring beauty as the “Heaven of the world”.
